Cvent is a SaaS platform that has formed the backbone of enterprise event technology for more than 25 years. The vast majority of Fortune 500 companies run their annual conferences and global meetings on Cvent.

A corporate congress with hundreds of attendees — arranging flights and hotels, room-type preferences, multi-tier registration forms, speaker management, mobile agendas, sponsor lead retrieval, and a post-event ROI report — is not something you can run with a single spreadsheet. Cvent provides every step of this workflow built in.

The Cvent Supplier Network is a database covering more than 300,000 hotels and meeting venues worldwide. Event organizers can filter by desired capacity, location, and features, then send an RFP to multiple venues at once. On the registration and payment side, the platform supports multiple ticket categories (general, member, student, sponsor), discount coupons, group registration, individually customizable registration forms, and built-in payment, with options for prepayment, on-site payment, or invoicing.

Hotel room blocking is critical at large events, and Cvent lets attendees specify room type, date range, and roommate preferences during registration, then passes that information on to the hotel. On event day, a branded mobile app gives attendees a session agenda, speaker bios, maps, networking tools, surveys, and Q&A, with push notifications communicating last-minute changes. Sponsors can scan the badges of visitors to their booths to collect contact information, with automatic CRM sync available afterward. A hybrid and virtual expansion module opens in-person events to remote viewers through a virtual stage and hybrid networking — a module significantly enhanced after the pandemic.

Large organizations such as Microsoft, Marriott, IBM, Pfizer, and the World Bank manage their annual global events on Cvent. In Turkey, it is used by congress agencies serving international clients and by major medical conference organizers.

Pricing is custom, based on event type, attendee count, and module selection, with a quote provided after a demo. Management is primarily web-based, while the mobile app is designed for attendees.
