Hopin is a SaaS platform focused on the end-to-end management of virtual and hybrid events. It rose to prominence during the wave of remote events after 2020 and became one of the first major solutions to combine live streaming, networking, expo, and interaction tools within a single interface.

Virtual events run across multiple disconnected tools — Zoom plus Slack plus a separate payment tool plus a separate sponsor page — create a fragmented experience for attendees. Hopin keeps the entire flow, from registration and entering the stage to watching speakers, networking, visiting sponsor booths, and logging out, within a single window.

At a single event, the main stage broadcasting to thousands, parallel breakout sessions for hundreds of attendees, interactive workshop rooms, and networking corners can all run at the same time.

Genuine networking, the thing most missed after the pandemic, is built directly into Hopin. A fast 1:1 meeting pool, interest-based matching, and group discussions keep attendees from becoming passive viewers.

Sponsor brands can set up their own virtual booths in the expo area, where booth owners hold live video conversations with visitors and share brochures and videos. For paid events, Hopin includes built-in ticketing, coupons, and payment integration, with support for early-bird discounts, group tickets, and tiered sponsor access.

Post-event reports cover attendance numbers, average time spent, which sessions drew the most views, how many networking connections were made, and how many visitors each sponsor booth received — critical data for measuring return on investment.

Hopin's user base ranges from corporate brands such as UNESCO, NATO, Adobe, and Volvo to university symposiums, from technology startup summits to HR conferences. It was a popular choice for many corporate virtual conferences held in Turkey during the pandemic.

Pricing is custom based on event size, with a limited free plan available for small events. The platform is primarily web-based; dedicated attendee apps exist for iOS and Android, while the organizer panel is web-based.
