Eventbrite is a ticketing and registration platform designed for organizers running events at every scale, from small local workshops to large music festivals. It also functions as a marketplace where millions of consumers around the world discover events.

Setting up your own website to sell tickets for your event, adding payment infrastructure, calculating VAT and tax, and driving foot traffic is a serious undertaking. Eventbrite provides all of this infrastructure ready-made, and on top of that, gets you discovered on its own platform.

Fast setup lets you create an event page in five minutes — title, description, image, venue, date, ticket categories, and price. Free events don't require payment integration at all. Built-in payments run on Stripe infrastructure, accepting credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay; money is collected in your local currency, with tax calculated automatically. Event discovery gives you a presence in Eventbrite's own mobile app and web platform, where your event, paid or free, is shown organically to local users matching relevant interests.

Marketing tools include email campaigns sent to your existing attendee list, social media share cards, and automatic notifications to followers, with configurations like discount coupons, early-bird tickets, and member-only pricing all supported. Mobile check-in lets you scan attendee QR codes for fast entry via tablet or phone on event day, working simultaneously across multiple devices. Recurring events, such as a weekly yoga class, a monthly workshop, or a seasonal concert series, can be defined once and repeated automatically.

Eventbrite is used by independent workshop organizers, music clubs, yoga and fitness instructors, nonprofit organizations, book clubs, and tech meetup organizers. It is used less for purely domestic Turkish events and more by international organizers whose events accept local attendees in Turkey.

The platform is free for free events. For paid events, pricing follows a per-ticket service fee plus a payment processing fee. Three plans are available — Essentials, Professional, and Premium. Web and mobile apps are fully featured.
